In order to ensure that our music goals can be reached and to promote a positive learning environment, the following guidelines have been established for music class.

Music Class Expectations (Great Behavior)

1.  TRY YOUR BEST!

2.  MAKE GOOD CHOICES!

3.  NEVER GIVE UP!

Earning a Surprise Day…

When a class has 8 Great Behavior Days they earn a Musical Surprise Day!  Musicians will get to enjoy different musical games and activities!

If a class is following the Music Class Expectations (Great Behavior), a Music Note "Point" is added to our chart.  If a class is not following the Music Class Expectations (Great Behavior), a Music Note "Point" is NOT added to our chart.

Notes Home…

If a student musician is not following the Music Class Expectations, they will get a verbal warning.  If they do not change their actions, they will be asked to go back to their seat.  While in their seat, the student musician should be changing their actions and making better choices.  If they do, they can come back to the meeting area to join the class.  If a 3rd warning is needed, a yellow note will be sent home to the parent/guardian of the student musician informing them of their student’s actions during class.  The note should be read, signed, and returned to Ms. Dardano the following day.
